The artist, or the Organisation that the artist represent, have signed a media consent, that they own the copyright over the artwork(s) on the platform, or have obtained the copyright owner’s authorisation to display the artwork(s) in the exhibition “Free to Create – Create to be Free”.

Artworks are protected by intellectual property rights. A written authorisation for the display of the artwork(s) by the Council of Europe is given for the entire world and the entire duration this on-going exhibition. The artwork(s) in question will be presented online as part of the #exhibition and may be used for promotional and informational purposes in the context of the #exhibition. A digital copy will be kept in the Council of Europe’s archives for an indefinite period of time.

Similarly, artworks and additional material, as well as photographs followed by the name of an agency or freelance photographer, are protected by intellectual property rights vested in the agencies or persons concerned.

Consequently, none of these artworks may be reproduced, modified, re-circulated, commercially exploited or re-used in any form whatsoever without the prior written consent of the agencies or persons concerned.
